AUSTRALIADOWN UNDER CONTEST
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Entry to this contest can only
be accomplished by completing the entry form at www.ittaustralia.com
GRAND PRIZES: Each of two winners and one guest will
receive an 11 Days/8 Nights travel package to Australia . This package
will include round trip airline tickets originating and ending in originating
ITT/ITR Office, 8 nights lodging in Australia based on two (2) people sharing
a room, and two land tours in Australia . This travel package is based
on availability and blackout dates may apply. This travel package must
be completed within 12 months of notification.
MSRP: $8750 (estimated per winner)
PRIZE TRANSFER: No prize transfers, e.g., cash surrender
value for this will be awarded to any of the winning contestants.
ODDS OF WINNING: Odds of winning the Grand Prize in
this contest will be determined by the total number of entries submitted
by eligible contestants.
HOW TO ENTER: The contest requires entrants to
submit all the requested/required information appearing in the official
entry form at www.ittaustralia.com.
Any eligible patron may enter the contest once. To be eligible for
this travel package, entrants must choose a participating United States
ITT/ITR Office and must be submitted by Close of Business, local office
time, by December 1, 2006 . Local contests will be conducted December
1-8, 2006 . Local winners will be notified December 14, 2006 . Winners
on the local level are automatically eligible for the Grand Prize
(11 Days/8 Nights in Australia for two). Incomplete, erroneous or
altered entry forms will not be eligible for consideration. No facsimiles
or mechanically reproduced or altered entries will be accepted.
ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be active duty members of
the Armed Forces or their immediate family members; members of the Individual
Ready Reserve (IRR) and Selected Reserve (SELRES), or their immediate family
members; and active duty members of the other Uniformed Services or a family
member, serving, stationed, or residing at a military installation, station,
unit, Department of Defense, military retirees, DoD civilian employees
or ship. Winning entrants or their sponsors must possess a valid military/government/DoD
identification card or a valid dependent identification card. Winners of
the contest must be 18 years of age on or before January 1, 2007 . Winners
and their guest must obtain a valid passport and VISA within 45 days of
travel.
Uniformed members and civilian government employees of MWR, MCCS, AAFES,
NEX and their immediate family members (parents, children, siblings, and
spouse) and local nationals are ineligible to participate in this contest.
Only one member per family will be eligible to receive a prize; however
each eligible family member may enter the contest.
PRIVACY ADVISORY: We will not obtain personally identifying
information about you when you visit this site unless you choose
to provide such information to us. If you choose to participate in
the contest and submit the online entry form, any contact information that
you provide will be solely used to respond to your request and not
stored.
PRIZE ACCEPTANCE: By accepting the invitation to participate
in the Grand Prize, all family members must agree to be bound by the same
Official Rules as all entrants.
Prize winners and their guests are solely and personally responsible
for all applicable federal, state, and local income and sales tax.
PUBLIC RELEASE AND MEDIA: All entries become the sole
property of military installations, Qantas and ITT Australia and will not
be returned. Should any dispute arise as to who is the participant/winner
of the Grand Prize, all decisions/rulings will be made by MWR/MCCS and
will become final and binding.
By participating in this contest, all entrants release and agree to hold
harmless Navy MWR, the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps Community Services, US Marine
Corps, the Department of the Navy US Army Community and Family Support
Center, US Army, and the Department of the Army and their respective officers,
employees, agencies, and other persons participating in this contest, from
any and all liabilities, losses, damages, rights, claims, and causes of
action of any kind in connection with his/her participation in the contest,
or resulting from acceptance and participation of any of the scheduled
events, without limitation, whether suffered by entrant, guest, or any
third party. This contest is subject to all applicable federal laws and
regulations.
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules
and the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all
respects. Any costs associated with securing passports shall be borne
by the winning contestants and their respective guest. Prize winners and
their guests are solely and personally responsible for all applicable federal,
state and local income and sales tax. As part of this contest, each
winner and their guest will have cash awarded and withheld and reported
on an IRS Form 1099, which is intended to limit any Federal tax liability
for the reporting tax season. However each recipient of Form 1099 remains
completely and legally responsible for any tax consequences associated
with receiving this travel package as part of this contest.
NOTIFICATION: Grand Prize winner selection will take
place the week of January 15, 2007 and the winners will be notified
no later than January 24, 2007 . Finalists will be confirmed by using the
information submitted by entrants on the official entry forms. Once
this has been accomplished, winners will be notified via telephone and/or
